
USF GRADUATION CEREMONIES
University of South Florida graduation ceremonies are scheduled on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.. The doors will open at 7:30 am and approximately 10,000 people are set to arrive at the St. Pete Times Forum for each ceremony. Most of the attendees will be arriving by car.
There will be traffic congestion in Downtown Tampa from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Streets to avoid are Platt Street/Channelside Drive; Brorein Street; Tampa Street; Morgan Street (Kennedy Boulevard to Channelside Drive.
If you work in Downtown and do not have reserved/monthly parking, you will want to arrive early to secure your normal parking spot. If you arrive after 8 a.m., you may want to park in the northern part of Downtown and utilize the In-Town Trolley. Or try transit for the day!
If you work in Downtown and have reserved/monthly parking, you may want to flex your work hours to avoid traffic congestion.
